Lawrence (“Larry”) Brocchini
Lawrence (“Larry”) Brocchini is a graduate of Georgetown University (B.A, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, 1986), and the University of Michigan Law School (J.D., cum laude, 1989). Mr. Brocchini is a litigator with expertise in all phases of civil proceedings in federal and state courts, including first-chair jury and bench trial experience. He has been a commercial attorney and trial lawyer for over twenty years – including as a partner in the New York office of the international law firm Hogan & Hartson LLP. Earlier in his career, Mr. Brocchini litigated at Dewey Ballantine LLP and Quinn Emanuel Urquhart Oliver & Hedges LLP. The breadth of his experience spans a wide range of substantive areas, including complex commercial and financial disputes, employment and non-competition issues, intellectual property matters, licensing and branding, bankruptcy, insurance, antitrust, securities, director’s and officer’s liability, professional liability, regulatory, health care, class actions, and other commercial issues. He has represented Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, financial services firms, technology companies, mid- to small-size firms, not-for-profit organizations, and individuals in industries including software, manufacturing, retail, energy, pharmaceutical, entertainment, apparel, private equity, finance, insurance, medical, health care, and accounting. Mr. Brocchini has also provided corporate, transactional and employment-related counseling and advice to professional groups and health care practices. A member of the New York State Bar, Mr. Brocchini, who is a Partner with the Firm, is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the Western District of Wisconsin, the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
