Arina Shulga

Arina Shulga is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College (B.A., magna cum laude, 1997) and the University of Pennsylvania Law School (J.D., summa cum laude, Order of the Coif, 2002), where she was a Senior Editor of the Journal of International Economic Law. She also holds a Certificate of Study in Business Policy and Management from the Wharton School of Business. Ms. Shulga’s practice focuses on representing domestic and foreign companies and individuals in all aspects of corporate and securities law, including public and private debt and equity offerings, securities law compliance, corporate governance and employment. She has represented a wide range of clients, from individuals and startups to international Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries, including financial services, banking, technology, fashion, apparel, entertainment and health care. Ms. Shulga is the author of an internet blog “BusinessLawPost.com” for small and medium-sized businesses, which won the 2010 Lexis Nexis Top 25 Business Law Blogs award. Before joining RPL, Ms. Shulga worked at a leading international law firm where she advised public companies on preparation and filing of periodic reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission; represented investors, issuers, underwriters and selling stockholders in private and registered securities offerings, including IPOs, convertible debt offerings, high yield debt offerings, and A/B exchange offers; advised companies on compliance with contractual obligations, internal restructurings and joint ventures; and represented companies and their advisors in tender offers, consent solicitations and leveraged buy-out transactions. Ms. Shulga also has experience in employment transactions and representing not-for-profit organizations. Ms. Shulga is admitted to practice in New York.
